Canguru App

Canguru connects vacation-rental hosts with on-demand technical experts — "Gurus" — over live video, so maintenance problems get diagnosed and resolved without waiting for a technician to show up on site.

Daymarker

Daymarker is a habit-tracking app built around a simple idea: your habit data belongs on your device, not in someone else’s cloud by default. It pairs streaks, statistics, and an awards system with a local-first architecture that keeps every feature working offline.

How I Work

I think about products in terms of state: what does the system know at any given moment, and what changes it? That framing keeps interfaces predictable, and it scales from a single button all the way up to a full app.

I'd rather ship a boring, well-understood solution than an impressive one that nobody can safely change six months later. Complexity has to earn its place.

Technical Background

Full-stack web development with React/Next.js and TypeScript, backed by PostgreSQL/MongoDB data layers and CI/CD-driven cloud deployment via Docker. On mobile, I've shipped a live two-sided marketplace app in React Native (Canguru) and a local-first, offline-capable app in Flutter with on-device Hive storage (Daymarker). On the design side, I work through wireframes, accessible interface architecture (WCAG), and design-token-based systems, validated with A/B testing.
